Australia is now becoming a dreamland for many Bhutanese people. Many say that people working in Australia get a decent wage. The wage is paid on an hourly basis and the payment is received without any hindrance. One Australian dollar is equal to about Nu.48.11 or Rs.48.34. However, the currency rate fluctuates depending upon the market rates.
Many Bhutanese students go to Australia to study under the Australian Student Visa and they do part time job there where they can work up to 22 hours a week. They usually go for degree or master degree courses. It is a good opportunity for them to make money while they study. If you are married, you can also take your spouse to do job in Australia. Your spouse can do full time job there. The cost of living in Australia is very high. So you must spend less and the rest be sure to save for your native land. You should take your spouse with you otherwise it is very difficult to pay even your tuition fees. You can work for 22 hours a week whereas your spouse can work for 38 hours a week.

Australia is a very safe place to work or study because you are protected by their government laws. You can also try for Australia Awards Scholarships which are being funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Australia Awards Scholarships aim to achieve for their long-term development awards. If you get Scholarships, you are quite lucky because you don't have to pay school fees, cost of travel, etc
Before going to Australia please make sure to know everything in details. If you have your relatives in Australia, it would be much better for you. They can assist you in finding jobs in advance. If you are lucky enough you will get a good job but most of time, you may not get the job as you expected.

ReplyDeleteAs far as i know, what ever qualification you have, first you should start from cleaning job. As and when you get familiar with the job market situation, you may get a chance to get the desired position as technician. But if you can work hard, cleaning job will be able too sustain you paying tuition fees also can save based on your living style.

ReplyDeleteAs clearly mentioned by the author, if you come with your spouse and if you do master degree and above, you can have a decent life here as well as you can repay the loans and even you can save a bit. But it all depends on your hard work, motivation and enthusiasm to be a responsible person.
